Good News for Critically Endangered Species

Image of North Atlantic right whale with calf off the coast of Florida in February 2005.July 1, 2005 — NOAA Fisheries Service biologists have confirmed the year's 28th unique sighting of a North Atlantic right whale mother-calf pair, making this one of the best calving years on record for these rare and endangered animals.
